(Anonymous) 2012-11-08 12:36 am (UTC)(link)Hell, Shawn and Mary Lightly had better chemistry. Shawn and MacIntosh...Shawn and that waitress from the pilot...Shawn and fill in the blank. Joey from Friends had it correct: once two actors sleep together, their chemistry goes to shit.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I know that sometimes that's not the case, but in my experience, it usually is. At any rate, I actually stopped watching Psych in part because I hated how forced and contrived Shawn and Juliet's relationship had become. I do sort of ship them (as part of a Gus/Shawn/Lassiter/Juliet foursome), but he really does have better chemistry with almost every other character on the show.
