Botfly larvae (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botfly#Infestation). Basically its eggs ended up in my arm through a mosquito bite when I was in southern Mexico, I came to the states, and it wasn't something I had any idea was possible, so it...took a while for the doctors to realize what was going on because it just looked like I had a mosquito bite that got infected, except the wound wouldn't scar.

I spent some time in Belize and know people who had those. You seal over the wound to suffocate the larva and when it dies, you pop it like some kind of zit from hell. Fun all around.
