I gave up any hope of human!character development after the Hueco Mundo arc. Orihime had all this rich setup with Ulquiorra about weakness and heart, and then batman kills *~the man she loves~* and she has FINALLY had enough, uses her Supreme Fate-Defying Power to one-shot the boss, save Ichigo, remind him of his humanity, confess her love, and become a stronger person curls up in a useless ball of misogynistic crap and cries for somebody to save her WHAT.

I mean I understand why she broke down but damn you Kubo there were better ways to handle that.

UGH I KNOW. I was lukewarm about Ichihime before but now I just can't get behind it because of what it does to her. And him. He seemed really ashamed after that battle. It's not like Kubo's ever going to address it either. Nope nope. Kubo is just going to continue writing Orihime as this bubbley sexbomb who worships the hero who is oblivious to her feelings.
