Just thought those of you who commented really helped. Dumped the guy on his ass after a long chat where he revealed his asshole tendencies for all to see, even my blind self. Banned him from my Skype and my life and I'm trying to move on. (There is a lot of beer involved so far.)

Thanks for the update! I always wonder, whether or not I had anything to say, how things turned out for the anons in GC. Glad to hear you're out and good luck in the future!

And if maybe the moving on hits a minor speedbump you shouldn't hesitate to hit us up for encouragement though fingers crossed!

So do I... I care too much about f!s people's problems, both Anons and us who use usernames...

Ha, me too! It's worse with the accounts because I have to decide whether or not it's okay to ask someone about how they're doing concerning something they mentioned offhandedly three weeks or more before. So normally I chicken out or wait for a tangentially related opening and pretend I only remember vaguely.

What's the expiration date on checking in without seeming obsessive?

I worry about this irl. Ever since that one boyfriend, years ago, mentioned his surprise that I remembered a detail he thought was forgettable, I've developed the worst habit of feigning ignorance or absent-mindedness. I am really worried about giving people, acquaintances mostly, thinking I'm crazy invested in them.

Except online. I assume we're all creepers with amazing memory skills.

I don't drop many deets afaik. I'll remember that you remembered that I'm cool with remembering about people, and people remembering about me, and remembering about remembering.

If I logged everything, like a sensible person, I could at least pretend I only had to look up things. I'll be extra honest though: I only remember things about internet folk i see often, or left an impression.

I got that problem In real life, here on f!s I have slight problems remembering who is who actually, I do remember quite a lot about different things though, just not completely sure who said what. (And if someone uses different user pics I'm screwed.) And you never have to seem afraid to creep me out with knowledge!

I keep wondering what happened to the anon who was letting FS know they were killing themselves because they wanted someone to know.

Did they go through with it? Did someone stop them or find out? :(
