It's totally reasonable to enforce your boundaries, and if you want to watch TV, you want to watch TV, nothing wrong with that.

That said, I'm having a hard time imagining a kind of cuddling that precludes watching TV simultaneously. Unless by "cuddling" you mean "foreplay." Hell, even then.

Maybe OP's boyfriend doesn't like the show(s) in question and complains or something? Or maybe the OP is embarrassed about liking that show, and doesn't want the boyfriend around to witness? lol

Lol, anon from below here. Apparently we managed to read each other's minds.

Maybe OPs boyfriend isn't a fan of the shows she likes or she has some sort of embarrassment watching them with other people? I know I'm pretty particular about who I watch certain shows with, just because I don't want to listen to people talking crap or assessing my reactions.

Then again, it's also very likely that you're right and cuddling = foreplay for OP and their boyfriend, too. Which isn't great for TV watching. Lol.

Hell, you can watch during sex.

Yeah, if you want your partner to dump you.

Make sure you wink at the TV during.
