She's permanently nine years old, as the video-game characters don't age. They can go through character growth, but their mental/emotional age doesn't seem to change at all, so she'll never be an adult trapped in a child's body. Anyway, I think people pair her with Ralph because the two are friends and the internet is full of sick, sick people.

Why do you say their mental/emotional age doesn't seem to change? People obviously do change in the game world. The Nicelanders (I think that's what they're called) all learned to like Ralph. Calhoun emotionally got over the death of her fiancee and fell in love with Felix. All of the Bad Guys in the Bad Guys meetings were obviously benefiting from them emotionally.

Also, Sugar Rush had been corrupted by King Candy and everyone's memories repressed. So, once those are unlocked and returned, it's not entirely unbelievable to think that they'd all act older once they remember the 10+ years of memories they'd been forced to forget. I'm not necessarily saying the racers will suddenly all start smoking and drinking and having lots of sex, but I do think it's possible for a writer to address that issue and fix it.
