There is a lot of Pepper bashing, but rather than the bashing being misogynistic most of what I have seen is accusing her of being a misogynist based entirely off a few nasty comments she'd made to Christine, and to be honest I don't think too much of that is rooted in shipwank.

I've seen a lot of, uh, dislike or condescension levelled at characters surrounding Tony for being ~mean~ to him or ~not noticing his pain~ but that's about the worst I've seen.

Is this from the kinkmeme? Because I abandoned the kinkmeme for good a while ago once I realized the bulk of it had become issue prompts calling for the character to be shoehorned into anvilicious, OOC, Saturday Morning TV Specials to address some pet SJW wank of the day, and requests for "someone calling out" characters for Random Dick Move X that was already portrayed as a bad thing and learned from in the movies; rather than the smut, fluff, crack, and creative plot bunnies that dominated during the summer.

Eh, that part is luckily dying down quite a bit. By the time Round 14 shuts down and 15 starts it should be fine again. :)

The said, the tendency to post story outlines instead of prompts isn't going away nearly as fast. :(

I think the story outlines instead of prompts is just a common kink meme thing. Once they get big enough or have been around for long enough, everything is TL;DR.

Really? This is the first time I've seen so many outline-ish prompts. o.O

I haven't spent much time on the Avengers kink meme, but I know over in the SPN meme there are SO MANY long ass prompts that are basically the entire story laid out. There's still a fair share of shorter ones, too, but the unspoken consensus seems to be the longer the better. Of course, then a lot of the longer prompts don't get filled and people wonder why. Most people are pretty cool about it, but there are a few people who get really wanky if they feel like people are "stealing" their prompts or if someone bases a prompt on theirs. It's so ridiculous.

I was in the Star Trek and XMFC memes before this, Sherlock to a lesser extent. They all do that eventually, trust me. :)

These piss me off more than anything because you just know Tony would be the first one to kick the shit out of anyone who had the audacity to bash Pepper or Rhodey for slapping Tony upside the head when he got off-track and sticking by him through all his troubles and issues and all the supervillains trying to kill him over personal feuds.
