That doesn't even make sense. Doesn't that say a lot more about Pepper's personal tiff with Christine in particular than it does about her attitude towards women in general? To me, it always seemed like Pepper -- who is, y'know, NOT PERFECT and is kind of a proud smug jackass instead of some perfect saintly Madonna -- took an absurdly high level of offense at Christine insinuating she was Tony's maid (totally in-character for Pepper, given how seriously she takes her job) and held onto that offense well into Iron Man 2.

Yeah, I never understood that perspective, either. Like, okay, pretty petty to use insults like that, but that seems like such a stupid thing to base or view her entire character on. >.
