About the shaved bits making people look like children, and as someone who loves all the cooches and dicks and chests, I don't see it. I can't even with people who say that it is.

Never seen the video/heard the song, but I love those nails (and, oddly enough, I just got pale green and gray nail polish from someone online - maybe I'll try that).

I was about to make the same comment (except the recently bought polish part)! Her nails are adorable, and I never would've thought to use that combination of colors.

Also, her ring is super cute.

I think the song's hilarious, but that's it. I don't find it all that empowering, though, or all that interesting musically.

I enjoy that song, and a few others of hers, quite a lot. I'm meh on her outside of her songs, don't really care too much either way, but the songs are fun.

Personally, I love (groomed) pubic hair and I'm turned off by bald crotches on either gender. People like me are out there too, so your choice is your own alone. (I wouldn't kick an otherwise hot partner out of bed for being hairless there, either. It's just not my preference.)

OK I really don't get why women shave all their pubic hair, and to be honest I didn't even know that they did until a conversation a couple of years ago when I discovered some women I worked with did. Then I asked about, none of my friends bothered, and a lot of my colleagues didn't either. None of their boyfriends or husbands ever commented or even really noticed.

I really can't imagine even trying to shave my pubes, I'm sure I'd cause awful damage. I've only ever removed my bikini line.

Then a while later I saw a telly documentary with a young woman who was saying how the men she slept with would hate it if she removed her pubes, and she was interviewing other young women about it. I read an online discussion about it, and the men were saying interesting things, they basically said they were usually so grateful to even be in the situation that they didn't even take any notice, and the ones that did take notice said they preferred hair on pubes, that it's more fragrant, and that shaved pubes had a plucked chicken look about them. Some also felt it had a young girl look which bothered them.

It bothers me that the porn industry started all this, it's easier for them to get good penetration shots if the woman has no pubes. That's it. Yet it's made some young women feel pressure to remove something that has an important role in the hygiene and skin protection of a delicate area.

Hey OP, I don't hate this song, this is the first time I've heard it, and it actually made me laugh a lot (In a nice way, not /at/ the song).

I just can't help laughing at the comments of some of the people who dislike her because they remind me of the hipster girl at the beginning of the "Do it with a Rockstar" video (just after the drag queens).

Her music is incredible, her live performances are inspiring, and I think it's awesome for someone to make a song about their views on female pubic hair. For the most part, a shaved/waxed female vagina looks like a (possibly larger) 8 year old vagina. The main difference there is the pubes, so I see why she wrote that lyric, but I also see why people aren't comfortable with it (it implies that people who shave their snatch or those that enjoy are comparable to pedophiles in some way).

I guess I'm just judging her based on my experiences with her (concerts, tweets, meeting her, etc.) I don't know if the things she is accused of are true or not, but her music has been such a big part of my life that, honestly, I think ignorance might be bliss in this case. Judge me if you must.
