Re: This is how I feel every time Tom talks about how 'wounded' Loki is

I definitely think Loki's got issues and that those issues are clear in the movie. Maybe that's why I think Hiddles emphasizes them too much in interviews? I can understand sympathizing with Loki to a degree, but like you said, there are so many people in fandom who don't stop there; they don't think he's responsible for his own actions. Or if he is, they think those actions are justified. I even like Loki, and I really did sympathize with him in Thor, and I do think he's a complex guy...but some of Tom's comments make me question how he sees Loki. And some fans take what Tom says and run with it. Especially the 'Loki just needs a hug' thing. I imagine he said it jokingly, but often feel fandom didn't catch that part.

Now if he spoke about Loki all the time in this manner, I would be more inclined to agree with him.
