Apparently I'm way more cynical and bitter than most of you, because when I saw "It's not practical to be a virgin at 25" what I figured she meant was "eh, by the time you're twenty-five there will've been at least one dude who thinks he has the right to fuck you and you know he's going to totally make a fuss if you don't let him, it's not worth the screaming and potential stalking and violence and slut-and/or-virgin-shaming to turn them all down."

I mean I am still a virgin post-25, but if I wasn't that would be why: because I'd decided on a practical basis that letting him do it was the lesser of two evils.
