elialshadowpine: ([whedon] so many books so little time)

I haven't since switching entirely to e-readers. Both my partner and I have RA that just got diagnosed in the last couple years. What it's hit worst for both of us has been our hands. I can still read some types of physical books, if they are mass market paperbacks or lightweight hardbacks (as YA generally tends to be, so I still get a lot of reading material from my library) but my partner can't hold a physical book without a huge amount of pain.

Prior to switching we used to go probably a month or so, maybe more often if we had a good paycheck. This is going to change once the whole agency pricing settlement goes through and online vendors can actually offer discounts for ebooks but, we used to buy a lot more books when we were buying physical because of all the "buy three get one free" type deals. I don't see them as much in B&N but Borders had TONS AND TONS of sales like that.
