Unless I am being even more dense than usual, nothing happened recently in canon related to this? Which means whatever it was, it was either out in the Far Lands of Homestuck fandom or somewhere in the dark morass of Hussie's social media presence, and I have no hope of finding it...

A character was referenced to a being "white," then it was decided the characters where aracial so Hussie changed the reference to gibberish. Now he's changed it back to white again.
