The rumours of character death I've seen circulating are far more obvious and disappointing. Not that even I want MCU Loki to die either, although the fan wangst would be funny. But yeah, the rumour I saw made me think "really, they're going with that?" but I will take it all with a pinch of salt.

Also comic book death isn't DEAD dead anyway etc etc.

Unless you're Uncle Ben. At least he has enough sense to stay dead.

Martin Sheen's portrayal recently made me almost upset about the fact I knew he had to die at some point. That was weird, because it's something I've known for most of my life that Uncle Ben always dies. You'd think I would've come to terms with it!

Sometimes that just happens, tho. I was really upset when Bucky fell off the train and into the ravine of doom in CA, despite knowing going in to the movie that it was Bucky and therefore he was going to die at some point. Sometimes reason just doesn't work if you really love a character or if the actor playing them is doing a particularly good job. Lol.

Ugh, I know. When I read them, I just had to sit there for a moment and go "what? Seriously? That's what they're doing?" If it turns out to be true, then... I know it's kinda petty, but it completely kills the hype for me.
