That would be interesting, but I'd prefer that he live just because I'd love to see a supervillain return in a role other than as The Big Bad. I'd love to see him give the villains help and then give the heroes help just to screw with everyone and play both sides against each other. That'd be fun to watch.

The first time I realized that Thor 2 would be riffing on some stuff from Simonson's run, I was (and still am) completely overcome with a desperate desire to see a live-action, big-screen portrayal of Anthony Hopkins, Chris Hemsworth, and Tom Hiddleston yelling "FOR ASGARD!
