also don't forget that azula went completely psycho and she's not a dude.

if you anything about the history of british royalty then you know they have a long line of people going completely batshit, and there's a lot of reasons for it. (which is also common for a lot of royalty apparently).

part of it has to do with incest and shit like using a lot of lead based makeup. so it's more than likely that coupled with being raised by psychotic people.

I wouldn't say the incest caused the European royal families to go crazy so much as their genes were fucked from the beginning and the incest increased the frequency of insanity. Most royal families also didn't raise their children themselves- Marie Antoinette, for example, barely knew her mother until she was in her teens.
