I think being under contract just means you have to appear in the movie if the producers or whatever tell you to, it doesn't mean you absolutely will appear in the movie.

Oooohh, okay. Now that I think about it, that probably makes it easier for them to not do the Norton Hulk movies then. Everything makes sense now.
