After reading this thread and others in the past I have to say...HS fans are far worse than the wankiest part of ATLA/LOK. At least they don't go "LOL You no like it cuz you too stuped or lazay" and then don't cry "i just trollz lolz" when they're called out on being a butthurt whiny fan.

Except it happens nearly every fucking time there's a Homestuck secret.

I'm agreeing with ayrt. It's the shittiest fandom I've ever seen, period.

There have been several Homestuck secrets that don't turn out like this.

There's one in from the day before where we all just talked about shipping and outfits.

Which is why I said "nearly all" instead of just "all." Point is, there's a butthurt "BUT YOU DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT/IT'S TOO SMART FOR YOU!" argument here every fucking time someone says they didn't like Homestuck.

I think it's more like that when people say like "The art is shitty and the story is stupid and anyone who likes it is stupid and Hussie sucks". If you're talking specifically about noodlyguy, it's not a secret that he likes to troll, so if people are acting angry to begin with he is going to keep pushing to get a rise out of them. I'm sure I could give a non-insulting reason why I don't like homestuck and people wouldn't care. Anyway, he is not the fandom. If you wanted to say "insanenoodlyguy is really obnoxious and pushy about homestuck" or "The regular homestuck fans on f!s really annoy me" it would be a lot more accurate than saying the entire fandom is terrible.

He's a resident troll. He likes giving people a hard time. But I have a hard time myself believing he cares if other people don't read Homestuck

He seems to be arguing an awful lot for someone who doesn't care.

There are other reasons to argue stupid shit than being butthurt tho.
