I don't know why, but that "in my heart" bit just comes off as really cute. The art is adorable, as well!

Considering in the game Barret is one of the four date options for Cloud, and Barret is so obviously gay for Cloud, it's just as canon as Cloud/Aeris or Cloud/Tifa. I will never forgive the fandom for ignoring the BEST yaoi couple.

And overlooking the vast potential of special attachments for Barret's gunarm.

i mean yeah barret/cloud is underrated but BEST yaoi couple? come on there was a lot of in-game support for cloud/sephiroth

like that one time when sephiroth burned cloud's village to the ground and killed his mom

or that other time when cloud stabbed him in the chest

or that other other time when cloud stabbed him in the chest

or that other other other time when etc. etc. i dont really remember but i am sure it involved so much kissing

Lol only Cloud/Tifa shippers are deluded enough to think Cloud/Tifa is or will ever be canon. Everything said about Tifa has been said about Aeris, all of that koibito crap. And considering the writers would have civil war if they ever did pick, they ALWAYS say it's up to the player.

Despite being a yaoi fan, Barret/Cloud is the only gay pair I like in the game, because imo it's got the most basis by far. As said, it's essentially canon, fuck Sephiroth and Zack
