Re: How not to be scared
Coming out to my sisters though, was mildly scary, and different with each. For one, it was the judging aspect that worried me since she's rather conservative, and scarily old-fashioned regarding gender roles, so I ended up telling her along with a host of other problems and things to admit to. One thing among many things, right? With the other sister, it was mostly about not leaving her out of my loop tbh.
as far as when I get into my other panic modes though, I try to have or plan an exit strategy. Can I hit-and-run some information bomb? Can I have actual duties/work to attend to, to avoid the awkward followup? Yeah. I don't have any good advice :(
