Although now that I'm thinking about it, I femslashed earlier, because I remember before Sailor Moon S got dubbed, reading stuff about Haruka and Michiru on the net and thinking that their relationship sounded so beautiful. And I did write a short not-blatant-but-still-there shippy story about them before I ever slashed any guys.
