3. Don't know the fandom, can't relate, but I think your secret is pretty.

10. How does seeing your first anime on Adult Swim/Toonami/YTV/some other mainstream channel somehow make you a less worthy fan? You're not an idiot 'cause you saw it on TV first instead of going out of your way to buy or rent the series. I hate this mindset. Elitist much?

12. WHAT DOES THIS SAY. I think I sympathize with you a little bit but I'm not sure if I do at all mostly because I can't read your secret. Ugh colours.

16. Mori/Haruhi ftw. =]

I don't go to art school for nothing! :)

10. My first exposure to anime was courtesy of BBC2 screening Akira when I was an impressionable prepubescent. If they hadn't done that and my parents hadn't recorded and left it lying about the place, I'd never have turned into the hopeless geek I am. OH NOES A MAJOR CHANNEL SHOWED SOMETHING POPULAR WHEN I WAS A KID AND I GOT INTO ANIME BECAUSE OF IT, I am not a proper fan!

... yeah, I hate this mindset too. Who cares how someone got into something as long as they like it? I guess this makes me a really bad old-school fan.

12. "I act like a one-person fandom for my original writing. I treat the pairings in my stories like OTPs and even fantasize about them sometimes. I even have 'non-canon' 'ships.' One one level, I'm really ashamed of it. It makes me feel pompous and egotistical and full of myself. But on the other hand, isn't it a good thing to love your own work? (This is pretty overboard, granted, but still...)"

I think. Ow, my eyes.
