because a true anime fan will seek out getting anime as it's subtitled and hot off the subbers computer, put up with bittorrent at idiotically slow speeds or wade through the hell that is mIRC just to get your anime FIRST.

But why would you do that unless you already WERE an anime fan, which you wouldn't be unless you had seen the mainstream stuff first... I... the whole thought process just hurts my brain. D:
