Still, when an actor says he is playing a character a certain way and you say he's somehow less human than his counterpart you may want to ask yourself why you think that.

da: Maybe not everyone follows an actor's interviews? Sheesh, it feels like you can't even comment on a character any more without first pre-emptively reading commentary from every corner of the fandom, and even then you're bound to irritate someone somewhere.

You can comment on a character all you like, but when someone brings up an interview or some other commentary I think it's worth noting and acknowledging those points like fenm did.
