So you'd stop reading something you've been enjoying because you don't like the author's attitude. And that would be my loss because...?
I write for myself and I post--not everything I write--because I like feedback. If you don't leave any feedback, read or don't read, I couldn't care less.

Well, obviously you wouldn't be one of the authors the anon stops reading, would you?

And not reading (and thus not reviewing) the works of authors that complain about not getting reviews would actually be appropriate because those authors obviously care a lot about how much feedback they're getting.

Only if the person who'd stop reading actually left feedback, but the people who get snotty about authors wanting feedback don't usually leave any, so what's one less silent hit?

How do you know how often people who don't like authors acting like reviews are mandatory leave reviews?

Just because I leave reviews doesn't mean I'm okay with authors acting like I owe them reviews.
