I know how you feel OP. I'm still waiting for the fic I won in one of these charity auctions from three years ago. The writer has since left the fandom so I'm guessing I'm probably not getting that fic anytime soon.lol. Ah well at least the money went to a good cause, but I get how disappointing it can be so I don't think you're bad for feeling disappointed.

Heh, I'm in the same boat. Wonder if we're waiting on fic from the same person? Writer has moved on to a new fandom and I know she owed for more stories than just mine.

I think they eventually moved out of fandom altogether, but I don't really follow them that closely anymore so who knows. lol. I wonder if this kind of thing happens a lot.

I've only ever received about half of the things I've won in fandom charity auctions.

Yeah, same here. The 50% fic that I did get were really good stories that hit my kinks in just the right places, so overall I'm content. Still, I wish that those writers who still owe me stories would at least contact me and tell me they can't do it so I can stop waiting. :/
