Oh, I'll still look for other work, either way.

I probably will apply. It's not guaranteed I'll get the job, anyway. Plus, as you said, it is a long time. I'm just sick of it, really. Hate part time work, but hate unemployment. Right now it seems to be a no-win situation :(
