...you do know that everything you see on Superdickery is the comics covers trying to make readers go "omg no how can Superman be doing that???" so they'll read it, right? That "burning up Jimmy's gift to him" stuff didn't actually happen. And Jimmy's not his adopted son.

It's like when previews show "Good Guy X" killing his coworkers and laughing, to make viewers tune in to see what the actual context is.

And yes, I hope above anon wasn't naive enough to think that was Superman's actual characterization. (But I do love that Jimmy Olsen cover - worst dad ever!)
