Shipping non-canon couples is great, and bitching about writers screwing up is great fun, but lets celebrate the times the real writers got it right too: list your favorite canon couples in your fandoms here!

Kira/Odo (DS9)... maybe. I love them but their plots once they hooked up weren't the best. I'm glad the writers had the courage to end the arc the way they did though.

Gosh I have so few canon couples that I love. Gotta say my favorite is Sybil/Branson from Downton Abbey, just because it was so up in the air that they were going to BE canon or not. (Anna/Bates was pretty obviously going to happen, and I knew Matthew and Mary were going to end up together from literally the moment they met, it was that obvious.)

Luke/Mara is my OTP of OTPs. (and in my magical headcanon, NJO was a standard trilogy or two and everything after that point was a bad dream.)

Sam Vimes/Lady Sybil

Willow/Tara (curse you Joss!)

Castle/Beckett, although part of the reason I love them together is I see them as an AU of Harry Dresden/Karrin Murphy in a world that *isn't* out to destroy the hero's souls. And I ship Harry/Murphy like burning, but they're not *quite* canon (curse you Butcher!).

The only ones that are coming to mind are Hermione/Ron (although I prefer them dragging Harry in as part of an OT3), Molly/Arthur, Amy/Rory, and Doctor/Master.

Gah, I know I have canon couples but being on the spot like this is making it hard for me to think of them.

They've already been said but: Wash/Zoe, Han/Leia & Amy/Rory. Xena/Gabrielle was canon too, right? ...I feel like it was in the end and with all the making out it at least should have been, so I'm going with that too.

Gonna get laughed at for this one, but Tidus/Yuna. IDC!
