Can I haz elaboration? Because as someone who loves the idea of that ship but who absolutely can't stand the way it's generally written, I wanna know your reason for disliking it too...

I'd like some elaboration too, because I write it. Other than the occasional "your fic is the first Tony/Bruce I've liked" comment, no one brings up the fact that it apparently isn't written right throughout fandom. If it's something besides personal preference that's turning people off, I'd like to hear it. :)

Personal preference. Sorry. Just not interested in it, and I hate that when I search for Tony/Pepper, 9.5 times out of 10, I get Tony/Bruce.

That totally happens to me, too; I'll be searching for some good Tony/Pepper fic and the Tony/Pepper in it is just prologue to Tony/Bruce :(

Well that sucks. :( I hate it when authors pull the bait-and-switch, even when it's in favor of a pairing I generally like better. It's just...shifty, and more than a little annoying.
