I'm not even sure how you guys manage to read forums, much less fanfic if you can't stand grammatical errors.

Granted, my english is hardly perfect so maybe I have no right to say anything, but it doesn't bother me to see typos here. I just correct it in my head and focus on the content.

I think there's a difference between one grammatical mistake here and there, and a fic slathered with them, which shows the author just can't be bothered and/or doesn't have the skills to write. Of course, a "you're" in place of "your" in an otherwise good fic threw me right off just yesterday, so it varies. This stuff is very YMMV.

I've been assuming that the OP and people in this thread mean fic littered with bad grammar from an author who doesn't care or doesn't understand the basic rules, as opposed to occasional slips or typos.

(The forums I've belonged to have actually been surprisingly good about insisting you talk in real sentences without chatspeak -- not to say you couldn't use an LOL or OMG, but it shouldn't look like a text to your bff -- but they might be exceptions.)
