Picard/Q

Their whole fanon dynamic just really squicks me. Picard is way to good for a git like Q.

(ST:TNG is an odd old fandom, because it was so big in its day and there are way more male than female characters, but there was hardly any slash. Which rather counters the new narrative that fandom is for m/m.)

Picard/Q is a weird one for me because that kind of dynamic, especially what with the way Q completely steamrollers over and dismisses everything Picard tries to say or do, always, always squicks me horribly in every other piece of fiction....yet with Picard/Q it doesn't. Maybe because it's so severe it loops back around past squicky and into hilarious and hot.
