Spike/Faye. I have tried my absolute best to see them as something other than evil twin best friends who wouldn't sleep with each other outside of a fuck-or-die scenario, but it just never happened (and I watched the show's first [adultswim] debut), so every fic featuring them together just strikes me as OOC no matter how well-written. And it is everywhere.

Dante/Nero. I just...can't. And I have no problems slashing Dante with his twin brother. But Vergil could handle himself; the power differential between Nero and Dante is too vast for me. Plus the fact that I hate Nero's guts is probably affecting my judgment.

Sesshomaru/Kagome. All they have in their favor is being pretty together. Sesshomaru would snap her neck after five minutes alone with her. I feel this because I would snap her neck after five minutes alone with her, and I don't hate humans.

Yeah I don't get the popularity of Dante/Nero either.

...No, wait, I do. Nero's kawaii. But he's such an awful character, goddamn.

He really is. The few times I tried to write him in a fic, most of it was making fun of him because it's so easy to do. I dunno how other people restrain themselves.
