(Anonymous) 2012-11-23 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)They didn't have a lot of friends but if you watch Crock Tales, you can see that it didn't much matter, those people had the only family that mattered to them. The people in their buildings, and the mostly unseen Opera friends or dinner party friends, I think, were meant to show the snobby side of life and every time those people rejected Frasier and Niles, it only seemed to exemplify how DIFFERENT the boys were from that lifestyle they chased. Different as in better, I mean.
One thing I actually DISLIKED about the show was how it ended - with Frasier still chasing love. The message wasn't a good one, I think.

And yeah, the ending was... meh. I think everything you know about Frasier from Cheers and Frasier should really stop trying to find romantic love. Although I don't remember that much about the last episode, since I've only seen it once or twice.
