Except the issue is less the language differences and more that many people forget USA is part of America. But thanks for ignoring that, just like you love to ignore we are all in the same supercontinent.

No, the USA is part of NORTH America. In the English language (at least, as used in the US), there is no continent called "America." America =/= North America =/= South America.
