Oh no they didn't!
AJ is the most laid back, most "normal" char in the mane cast. Making her a homophobe is so not on.

Btw, to me MLPs have always been pansexual by default. After all they're mostly female and sometimes exclusively female (for example in G3).
I just don't buy them discriminating against any kind of romance.
They'd make love parties for every couple and stuff like that.

But then it is common Brony knowledge that Celestia is some kind of dictator and the mares all need to fight for the few colts to breed and shit like that /rollseyes

Just to clarify, I'm not saying mostly female societies can't be homophobic. I'm saying that there are so many females that lesbian relationships would be more common.
