Re: Functioning on limited sleep

I used to go 24 hours straight about two times a month quite often before I moved (Mostly Fridays, with lectures in the day, then walking in the streets between 11 and 3 before then sitting in an open church from 4 to 7, then getting the first bus home at 8, then doing the same, minus lectures the night after.)

What I do is just to keep active, remember to eat and drink (not just coffee) and just remember that you can go to sleep the moment you get home.

Taking naps or breaks don't work for me, because the moment I fall asleep I am dead to the world for the next 12 or so hours.

Good luck though.

Seconding the avoidance of naps.

Even if you manage to limit yourself to a few minutes, you won't feel rested at all, you'll only feel even more tired.

Doritos and similar snacks used to give me a quick energy boost, although consider having protein-rich things like eggs, bananas, etc. for breakfast for a longer lasting boost.
