...and all I can say is WHAT THE F**K DID I JUST HEARD!?

And I can't believe the Imam is using the "All Jews are Evil!" card! Yes, Israel bombed Gaza and everyone is unhappy; but that does NOT mean that every single Jew in the ENTIRE PLANET is a Muslim-murdering psychopath who butchers Muslim children because "THEY R EVUL!". And when he talks about THUH EVILS of the capitalist system, I literally facepalmed in the Mosque. I studied Economics, and that is NOT HOW ECONOMICS WORKS!! It's like somebody has brain-bleached the Imam's mind and replaces it with stupid!

D: I've not had a similar experience, but yeah, that sucks. It's really sad when people like religious leaders and teachers and police officers - figures of public trust, FFS - start foaming at the mouth about things and basically talking crap. Especially when it's "All X's are horrible and want to murder ussssss, yes precioussssss." This is partly why we (future teachers) are told never to air our political views in the classroom, so as not to influence students. Of course, I guess you'd still get students who spewed hate, but a) it's a teacher's job to put a stop to that and b)it's REALLY fucking stupid to say things like that when you're a role model.

God damn it, this sounds exactly like little kids squabbling. "MOMMY! ISRAEL BOMBED MEEEE!" "BUT MOOOOOOOMMY, GAZA STARED IT!" This will never get resolved unless both sides grow up and start acting like mature adults. Yeesh!
