20. The people I know who like it go on about how it's one of the best anime ever made and it's so deep and awesome and etc. When I saw it I was extremely disappointed.

RE 8 - I quite liked the film actually. MUCH prefer it over the book, which just seemed horribly lacking.

But yes, he was wonderfully sexy and really helped the film. I could totally believe him as a young Hannibal, and I loved his acting. I hope he acts in more more-accessible films soon.

10. I've always felt a bit envious of people who find so much time to devote to fandom, I can barely update my LJ every once in a while, and steal a couple minutes daily to check comms and that's it. Sometimes I'd like to sit and make tons of icons and try my hand at writing fic, but whenever I try I feel remorse because I should be studying or working.

Yeah, I thought the film was really good, too, compared to the book. Um, mostly because of Gaspard, honestly. I thought his portrayal was so excellent. I can't unsee him as a young Hannibal now.

... where did you see the Densha Otoko film?

I have the book (with the translations of the forum posts in) and it is about the happiest, fluffiest, most uplifting and feel-good book I have ever ever read ever and it always makes me want to tear up at the end because OMGSOCUTE. Is the movie any good? Is it worth my trying to watch it?

That's really only an issue online, though. I'm talking more about being able to talk to someone at your school about your fandom and realistically expect them to know what you're talking about, as is the case with stuff like Harry Potter.

Also, I find being a part of drama entertaining, but maybe that's because I don't take fandom that seriously.

I would love to see more non-fanon Oshitari (and Gakuto, for that matter). Their fanon makes me cry. ;_; Maybe try finding a smaller or a start-up game? There's tons of new PoT RPs starting up all the time. Or write the way you want to write regardless of what people will think -- fanon isn't how things are 'supposed' to be, after all, you might be surprised. <3
