Sorry, I should have been clearer. I don't have a problem with SJWs per say, let them hammer away on their keyboards until their fingers fall off. The scroll wheel can be your best friend. But the people who actually say "die cis scum" and "kill yourself white cunt" are a different breed all together.

I've seen one today who basically equated patriarchy with non-vegan lifestyle and said that everyone who knowingly supported patriarchy by eating meat deserved to be raped and killed, since this is what was done to animals.

...

There are ways to support veganism, this isn't one.

To be fair here, all the SJWs I've seen really have it in for vegans who talk like that. (An opinion I totally agree with, in this particular case.) I didn't know any SJWs were vegans. Sounds like an incredibly bad combination.

I am Hindu and from a Hindu family, my entire family is vegetarian, my grandmother, mother and myself have all been vegetarian from birth, so have most of my cousins, aunts, etc.

Lots of Hindus are vegetarians. Some eat chicken and fish, but a good chuck of us are vegetarian. In my community (which is Hindu) we were brought up to treat animals with love and respect and that eating them was wrong.

Your experience is the opposite of mine. Most Hindus I know eat meat. Only one family is completely vegetarian and the rest of their relatives eat meat. In my experience, Hindu vegetarians are the exception, not the norm.

They also say that the meat industry is like the slave industry, and also don't have any problems with comparing the Holocaust to the egg industry.


They're just all around horrible people, basically.
