I think actors should be judged by acting ability, too, but I make an exception for anyone in role that specifically calls for beauty. In Snow White and the Huntsman, my partner and I cringed every time someone in the movie referred to her beauty because she looks like a smacked-out whore in every scene.

Yeah, well, Charlize Theron's acting was shit in that, so being pretty doesn't have a thing to do with acting ability.

Of course it doesn't. But when beauty is required for a role, they should cast someone is is beautiful. My point is that Kristen Stewart isn't even remotely attractive and it was painful to sit in the theater and hear the characters in the movie talk about how beautiful she was.
