So you think you're special for developing intricate headcanons and semi-abandoning canon? Well incoming newsflash. So did a lot of people. Fandom has taken the concept of human countries and vamped it up with more in-depth interpretations. Not just you. It's not that difficult to be "better" than canon because adding more historical analysis is taking it in a different direction better suited to your tastes than the original comics (which were intended for comedy and not drama). That's not new or wrong so get off your high horse for goodness' sake.

Nah, don't think I will. (: The high horse keeps my feet safely away from the shit that is the fandom.

I'm not going to disagree that there's an awful lot of shit in this fandom but still. Not really sure if you think you're above the people calling you a dick or if you know they're right and couldn't care less. Either way I feel like focusing on enjoying on what you do and surrounding yourself with other historical fic and people who enjoy it and ignoring the rest is the significantly less pretentious and pain-free path here (with the emphasis on pretentious in this case by the sounds of things). I mean you don't HAVE to spend your life complaining about other people?

I vote "I couldn't care less" with a little bit of "I think I'm above the people calling me it" (but only in certain cases).

The problem with your idea is that I can't find anyone who shares every single one of my headcanons. A majority of them, yes, but all of them? Sadly, no, and it's a pretty big deal breaker for me.

I judge people for their headcanons and if you have a terrible ones I find ridiculous I don't really want to bother with you.

Okay, now you do sound entitled.

No shares every single one of your head canons? And that's a deal breaker?
Jesus are you looking for someone to share fic with or are you looking for a damn brain twin?

Wow okay you have exceeded my expectations in assholery. I was mostly replying out of curiosity o.o

I have a tip for you. A lot of the time being welcome to input and sharing your ideas with other people and listening to theirs can actually help build your own headcanons. Theirs may focus on other characters but the intersections may give you ideas you may not have thought about before. Stay away from the people will the silly headcanons, yeah, but rejecting the people who look at things the same way as you but have different ideas is pretty stupid in my opinion? It's a joy to find people who appreciate and listen to your ideas and theirs might be interesting even if they're not related or similar to yours. It's a nice thing to have in common with someone.

I get the feeling you're not used to playing with the other kids though and that you've already made up your mind. I'll leave it there if that's the case.
