I enjoyed 42, and The Power of Three, so... maybe? Really, really did not like THE/CB though. I haven't watched Torchwood so I can't comment on it.

For me personally, I've had enough of the flashy plotting with no heart to it. Bring on the character development and emotional continuity.

I didn't get the sense that OP "couldn't distinguish reality from fiction". tbh I think you are reading too much into it and looking for an excuse to be judgmental.

(Also, I don't really get why people use "weirdo" as an insult. What's so bad about being unusual?)

I've seen that whole 'debunking' thing and it's ridiculous. Even if we aren't counting FB games (which I don't necessarily agree with) that still leaves a good deal of female gamers.

None of the secrets hosted on Imgur are showing up for me. :/ Anyone else having that problem?

Whenever this happens, I always try to figure out what the secrets were by reading the comments for them. It's kind of fun, like figuring out a mystery.

I work there. >_> Some of the boxes can be a mess, but for the most part, they are in decent shape, unless we just get a heavy freight night and can't work fast enough before some boxes break and/or get a bit squished.

Some just get broken going down the belts to designated areas and some are just poorly done up in general. *shrug*

Maybe it's just the angle, but when I first saw this picture I thought the girl in it was the younger version of Regina from Once Upon a Time, and I seriously thought for about a second that they found some way to include the Doctor on the show. Argh, way to dash my dreams!

As far as the actual text goes, you are definitely not alone. I am thrilled the Ponds finally left and I am cautiously optimistic about this new girl. I'll hope for the best but expect the worst.

Oooooh yeah, the Marauders...it honestly bothers me what an ass James was. This is my main problem with Lily/James v Lily/Snape wank...people bash the latter because Snape was an asshole who didn't deserve her, but uh, James was no saint either

Basically, I collapsed at my job and had to be hospitalized. Apparently my iron levels were a lot worse than the doctor had originally told me, and I also had ulcers, apparently. I'm feeling a lot better and will be going back to work tomorrow.

It also seems I missed some fun wank while I was gone.

I'm not sure what we're talking about here, or what you want me to say (assuming I'm talking with the same Anon).

I liked her Draco trilogy and the first one of those Mortal Instruments books although I would not nominate them for the Booker Prize. I am perfectly willing to concede she's a terrible person with whom I do not want to share a meal or hang out or model my life after.

Sadly I think they're real. I'll admit I agree with some of their saner points [For example, the first post about Orientation =/= being exempt from touching people who don't want to be touched], I don't care for how they phrase most of them and well...a lot of them are batshit.

+10000000000000000 Flashy plots are great every once in a while, and a good plot that also has good character development is the best, but if it's a tossup between the two I'd prefer the emotional continuity and character development every time. Boredom's always preferable to rage.
