Well, "Children of Men" is based on a book by the same name, although do not go in expecting it to be the same (the main character especially comes off completely different to his portrayal in the movie. Not better or worse, just really different.) Other than that, I cannot think of any, although I will be watching this thread like a hawk, because I love that movie.
