I do this with close friends but I never thought of it as an intimacy thing. It was just something we did. Huh.

Well I would only let someone touch my food if I was comfortable with them. And I definitely wouldn't reach onto someone's plate without being confident that was okay.

And I have a weird thing about wearing other people's clothes if they're going to see me in them. But that might just be me?

Plus I was specifically talking about it happening between two people you wouldn't expect it to and them not noticing anything unusual in the level of their closeness.

Oh, right. I guess I'm really oblivious to social cues. I never thought of it as a sign of how close people are. It's just a /thing/. /o\
