thanks for ruining it for the rest of us, ridiculously vocal minority (god, please be the minority please be the minority please be the minority)

they are so totally the minority. Not that you'd know from this site, which loves to hate them, but Equestria Daily is one of the safest spaces on the internet I've ever been to and they're currently at... >278,491,700 hits in the last, like, two-ish years.

it's genuinely a good show that people like to write fic for, talk about, support, make crazy theories for, and most of all watch.

Seconding bronies with a vengeance. I've mostly stopped using the term out of spite.

Sorry, couldn't resist. But seriously, I know a lot of people hate all bronies, but I guess that's the reason I'm not embarrassed to be a pony fan - most people who know about nasty bronies know I'm not one and would not assume that I associate with them, just because I like poniez. I won't automatically judge anyone who uses "brony" either. Every fandom has its crazies and it's by-and-large a very nice fandom imo

Thirding this. I like the show, I like the ponies, I stay away from the fanbase.

I'm... too scared to go looking for brony horror stories and wank. I usually just watch the show, then go to Equestria Daily (and Equestria Gaming! Some of the pony games people have made are pretty neat!)
