Watched The Cabin in the Woods last night. Loved it but now I want to talk to someone about it. Especially the monsters.

If you've seen it, what was your favorite monster and if you could choose, how would you want to die?

The Doll masked people were my favorite. Just people in masks but they were oh, so creepy. And if I had to die, I think the Psychotic robot would dispatch me quickly enough so I didn't suffer. (The Doctors struck me as the worst.)

I thought the monsters were very creepy. I especially liked the panoramic shots of them all lined up in their little, glass cages.

I saw it in the theater, so I don't remember all the monsters very clearly.

I dated this guy once who almost ruined Queen for me (WHICH IS A TRAVESTY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER). He believed he was a Highlander (even though there can be only one and he is clearly NOT the One) and would carry a practice sword around the dorm (which you probably could not get away with now, come to think of it LOL) while singing Queen in the most obnoxious falsetto. We did not love forever suffice it to say. LOL

I'd've been driven batty! Only you can make something so aggravating funny. <3

The unicorn. If I have to die, might as well die by unicorn stabbing.

That's my favourite, too! I really wanna know which item leads to the unicorn ending.

There was a rocking horse. Maybe that?

Pinhead with the serial numbers filed off! But that's because I'm a huge Pinhead fan.

I would pick the unicorn myself, though, because if I have to die, then it's gotta be a sparkly and hilarious death.

How funny, I would hate the robot the most. Seriously, what can you do to stop it, lead it to a cliff?

I feel my best chances would be with the mermaid. Because well. You know.

OH OH OH SHIT NEVER MIND. The unicorn, because I'm a virgin, so it'd probably not fuck with me. It might go after my friends but, hey, they've made their choices. Not judging, I just wanna live.

No, this is the scenario where no matter what, you are going to die. No one is going to be saved. You only get to choose how you will go out.

That's why I chose the robot. A quick swipe of the buzzsaw and my head is gone. I won't even see it coming. No pain. Unlike The Doctors who butcher people for seemingly kicks and giggles. Or the giant snake where you are slowly being digested. Ew.

OH right. Well, zombies then, I guess? Assuming transforming into a zombie is akin to just dying. Hope that's not too horrible.

The thing about the robot though is that you would have to be in a specific position for something like that to happen. Unless you were the first one that dies quickly and suddenly and then you friends are like "OH FUCK" and realize shit just got real. If that doesn't happen, statistically it probably won't, then you have a robot that you WILL hear clomping around the house, you get to watch your friend's limbs and fingers get chopped off, and you get to try and damage something nearly unbreakable. All while losing limbs yourself. Who's to say after that the robot will kill you quickly? The Ancient Ones seem to admire spectacle, it's probably more inclined to hack at your ankles and then cut at your abdomen until you bleed out. Screaming.

I HATED THE FUCKING ROBOT OKAY.

Well, when you put it that way. No robot!

I can't think of any other monster that might give you a quick death.

The Buckners might just drop an axe in your skull but then they might prolong your death because the are a zombie redneck torture family after all. They get off on pain. At least the men do with their "husband bulges."

I don't want the Dolls. They tie people up and burn them. Fornicus is another one who likes to torture. That...tree...pass.

Man, there is no easy death in this movie. But then, that's the point.
