Re: Fictional deaths/distresses
(Anonymous) 2012-12-03 07:41 am (UTC)(link)Instead of a character who was seeking redemption, because of misdeeds he was trying to atone for. Or trying to honor a life debt he owned an enemy. Or even just trying to do what was right. He saved Harry all those times for an unhealthy obsession he had with a woman who rejected him. Even when he went to Dumbledore he was still prepared to let her family die, as long as he got the girl.
