OP, those people are the laughing stock of the internet (and real life too) for hijacking and giving a bad name to social justice to make themselves feel superior.

Some of them are trolls taking advantage of Poe's law and the fact that there are people agreeing with... all that.

This is wonderful advice.

Just let go. I know it's difficult. Most of us want to be good people, we don't want to hurt others and that's what they're using to make people feel like shit.
They're just bullies that somehow found a big enough following to become a buzzword on the internet, fuck them.

Indeed, find less shitty people to populate your dash. If you feel guilty about unfollowing people follow these next steps, it'll make you feel better even though it'll take some time.
If someone says something that bugs you write down their username somewhere, excel, a word doc, a postit on your desk, whatever. That way you can tell if it's a huge group of people being rude every once in a while or if it's a small group of people who are real assholes. Then set your limit. Mine was three strikes.
I thought tumblr was the wankiest place around filled with really rude brats, and it is, but once I identified some patterns, unfollowed a few jackasses and tumblr saviored all the rest my enjoyment went WAY up.
