A comment inspired by this avant-garde, stream of consciousness piece of art.

Well, look, there are different kinds of people in this world. I won't tell you who they are because my mother told me not to talk to strangers. But, since I've already begun I guess I have to finish because my mother also told me that there are starving children all over the world. Starving for acceptance, angry and bitter. Starving to be seen as human. Starving for equality and starving for love. Starving people do desperate things and starving people fight back against the people who restrict their opportunities to not be starving. Opportunity knocks, someone said. Opportunity knocks on the door of the right kind of people, though. Not on the doors of starving people. Starving people don't have doors because if they do then they are trapped inside and if they're trapped inside then they aren't embracing their hunger. You aren't really hungry, they say. You could not be hungry if you tried harder, others say.

But what do they know? They don't.

I want a plaque with this on it.

That's funny because my mother makes plaques. Seriously.

Yea but if you get consumed so completely with bitterness, and anger that you smack away the hands, that want to help you up...then what?

Then what? A rhetorical question, I hope?

(I wasn't actually trying to make a point with my post. Rather, I was writing free form without stopping to think. That's why it's rather nonsensical.)

I know there's something wrong with me, but that made a lot of sense in an artsy way. I didn't agree with it, per se, but it made a fuckload of sense literarily.

That's actually a very flattering comment. Thanks. If there's something wrong with you then there's something wrong with me for spewing that insanity from my brain. :)

^That was me, not realizing I'd logged out.
